Mary Sewell is a visual artist and paints from her studio at Portland Works in Sheffield. She uses oils in her paintings and aims to combine both the figurative and abstract.
Her work is a dialogue between opposites where she is trying to make sense of a polarized world. She is concerned with the balance of contrast, attempting to combine both form and spontaniety.
Mary also teaches ESOL and delivers workshops to community groups combining both English and visual mark marking. Click on workshops to find out more about these workshops.
